Glazed Miso Cod Recipe

This Glazed Miso Cod is an easy weeknight dinner that tastes like it came from your favorite restaurant. Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
  • ¼ cup white miso paste
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 4 Cod filets, about 5-6 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

Prep-Ahead Steps

  • To a small saucepan, add the miso paste, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar. Heat over medium heat and whisk while bring to a simmer. Once all ingredients are dissolved and combined and the sauce is simmering, remove from the heat to cool. Let cool for 10 minutes or until room temperature.
  • Place the cod filets in a glass dish for marinating. Then pour HALF of the sauce over the cod. Reserve the other half for serving. Marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉.
  • To a large sheet pan, add the olive oil and then the cod filets. Bake the cod 10 to 12 minutes, for thin fillets (about 1 inch thick), and 15 to 20 minutes for thicker fillets. The internal temperature should reach 135°F to 145°F.
  • Warm the reserved sauce in a saucepan for serving on top or on the side.
