1cupBrown Sugar
½cupKetchup
2teaspoonsYellow Mustard
228 ounce cans of Original Baked Beans
Dash Cayenne Pepperto taste
Instructions
Prep-Ahead Steps
Dice the onion. Mince the garlic.
Cooking Steps
Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees. Preheat a dutch oven or large high sided skillet over high heat.
Add the ground beef, bacon, and onion. Break up the ground beef using a spatula. Add in the garlic, and steak seasoning to the ground beef and then mix everything together and spread out into a single layer. Cook until the beef is cooked through.
While the beef is cooking, you can drain the beans, as you do not need the sauce.
When the beef is cooked, add the brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard. Mix to combine. Then add the drained beans and a dash of cayenne pepper (to taste). Stir everything together, cover and place in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
