Buying Sea Scallops

Buy Fresh Sea Scallops and if you have to buy frozen, look for flash frozen.  Scallop are sold in count per pound. I like the 20-30 per pound, as they are a nice plump size and you will get at least about 5-6 scallops per person.

1. Pat the scallops dry, then season them with salt and pepper.

2. Place the scallops in a hot pan and let them cook 2 min on each side.

3. Set the scallops aside to prepare the glaze. Add in the garlic, lemon juice & honey, stirring quickly.

4.  Return the scallops to the pan and heat through with the glaze.
