CHICKEN CORDON BLEU RICE BAKE

Cozy.  Easy.  Warm.  Delicious. This One Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Rice Bake has layers of deliciousness.

Traditional Chicken Cordon Bleu is a labor-intensive process with pounding chicken, rolling ham and cheese, then breading the outside, frying it.  Get all of that amazing flavor in this MUCH easier version!

INGREDIENTS Rice  Chicken broth Garlic powder Salt Chicken breasts Dried oregano Deli ham  Swiss cheese Panko breadcrumbs

The rice cooks for 20 minutes before adding the chicken.  The rice absorbs the water and fluffs up first to avoid overcooking. Meanwhile prep the chicken breasts.

Season the chicken pieces before topping them with deli ham and cheese.

Once the rice has done cooking, top the rice with the chicken & ham pieces and return to the oven. 

5 minutes before the chicken is done baking, add the panko breadcrumb mixture, and let it crisp up golden brown to serve.
