Quinoa, pronounced KEEN-wah, is cooked and consumed much like other grains in recipes.

Quinoa is actually a seed, not a grain, though the texture is similar to a grain.   It has a mild, slightly nutty taste.  Because the flavor is so mild, it really absorbs any flavors you mix with it. It can replace pasta or rice in most recipes. The greatest things about Quinoa are the fantastic health benefits.
