SEASONED SAVORY TOFU BITES

INGREDIENTS – 14 oz Extra Firm Tofu – 1 tbsp EVOO – 1 tsp Onion powder – 1 tsp Garlic powder – 1 tsp Salt – 1 tsp Dried oregano – 1 tsp Paprika – 1 tsp Ground Coriander

When you want to reduce how much meat you're eating, this is a great way to add some texture to your meal.  Perfect addition to salads, soups, rice or pasta! They are low carb and a good source of protein. 

WHY ENJOY MAKING TOFU CROUTONS

CUT THE TOFU INTO BITE SIZED PIECES. 

PLACE A PIECE OF PARCHMENT PAPER INTO THE BAKING DISH AND ADD YOUR TOFU. USE A PAPER TOWEL TO SOAK UP MOISTURE. 

tip 

TOFU HAS A LOT OF MOISTURE SO ALLOW IT AN HOUR OR MORE TO SIT WITH THE PAPER TOWEL (OR 2!) TO SOAK UP THAT EXCESS. 

MEASURE OUT THE SEASONINGS TO ADD TO THE TOFU.  COMBINE WELL.

SPRITZ THE OIL OVER THE BAKING SHEET AND THEN AGAIN OVER THE TOFU BITES. SPRINKLE SEASONINGS OVER THE TOFU. 

BAKE THE TOFU BITES, HALFWAY THROUGH TURNING THEM.
