Ingredients -  Garlic Cloves -  Tomato sauce -  Beef Broth or stock -  Seasonings: Chili Powder, Ground    Cumin, Paprika, Salt, Pepper -  Veggies: Carrot, Celery, Scallions -  Ground Beef 90% Lean -  Shredded Cheddar Cheese -  Ready-to-bake Pie Crust -  Egg

Preheat a large frying pan on high heat. Add 1 tsp Olive Oil, then the diced carrots, celery, and scallions. Cook for 5 minutes until softened.

Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for 5 minutes to brown the meat.

Add the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, the tomato sauce, and the broth. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and mix in the shredded cheese.

Roll the dough out to the size of your skillet + 1 inch.  Fold it in half, then in half again to make it easy to unfold over the pan.  Then unfold and cover the filling.

Fold in edges.  Brush the beaten egg over the top. Cut 4 1-inch slits in the top of the pie dough. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let rest for 5 minutes, then cut and serve.
