Start with chopping, slicing and measuring out the fresh ingredients as well as prepare the broth.
You can combine the chicken with the broth, seasonings and herbs ahead of time in the crockpot and let it marinate until you're ready to start cooking.
Once the ingredients are combined and added together in the slow cooker, cover the insert and turn it on low for 4 hours.
Cook the pasta to al dente and set it aside. When the chicken is done, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it.
Mix together the cream sauce starting with the cream cheese melting into the hot cooking liquid.
Add the shredded chicken into the pasta inside the crockpot. Stir in the cream sauce until well combined.
