Scallops seem fancy and can make a really nice romantic or special meal. But it's also a great meal for a night you need something healthy and quick. Scallops are rich in protein and high in Omega-3 so definitely a healthy addition. It pairs well with rice, risotto or just some veggies. This simple glaze delivers on flavor!
Check the scallops and remove any muscles that may still be attached to the sides. These are small muscles that attach the scallop to the shell and they are really tough, so you want to discard those.
PAT DOWN THE SCALLOPS AND THEN SEASON WITH SALT & PEPPER.
ADD OLIVE OIL TO A PAN AND THEN FRY YOUR SCALLOPS, ABOUT 2 MINUTES EACH SIDE.
REMOVE THE SCALLOPS TO A PLATE, THEN ADD THE GARLIC, HONEY AND LEMON JUICE TO THAT SAME PAN. LET IT THICKEN AND COMBINE WELL FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES.
