WHY ENJOY MAKING EASY LASAGNA DINNER

Save prep time by using a food processor for the onions, garlic, and basil!  Just toss them in a pulse vs. taking the time to finely dice.  They also cook faster this way.

BRING A POT OF WATER TO A BOIL AND COOK THE BROKEN LASAGN NOODLES TO AL DENTE. BE SURE TO SAVE A CUP OF THE PASTA WATER.

HEAT A SKILLET AND COOK THE GROUND CHICKEN, SEASON WITH SALT & PEPPER. ONCE IT'S COOKED, STIR IN THE ONIONS, GARLIC AND BASIL THAT WAS PREPARED.

BREAK THE TOMATOES INTO PIECES AND ADD TO THE SKILLET ALONG WITH THE TOMATO PASTE, PASTA WATER AND SEASONINGS.

STIR IN HALF THE COOKED PASTA NOODLES TO THE SIMMERING SAUCE. YOU WANT THEM SUBMERGED INTO THE SAUCE.

STIR TOGETHER THE RICOTTA CHEESE WITH THE PARMESAN AND TOP THE SAUCE WITH THE CHEESE MIXTURE.

TOP THE CHEESE MIXTURE WITH THE REMAINING PASTA NOODLES,THEN SPRINKLE THE MOZZARELLA OVER THE TOP. ADD TO THE BROILER FOR A FEW MINUTES TO BROWN BEFORE SERVING.
